J6800 C16/C18 Alkenyl Succinic Anhydride (ASA) is a highly effective internal sizing agent widely used in the paper industry. It is synthesized by reacting maleic anhydride with long-chain olefins (C16–C18), resulting in a product with superior hydrophobic properties. This ASA is designed to impart excellent water resistance and surface strength to paper products.

Usage
C16/C18 ASA is typically used in the form of a freshly prepared aqueous emulsion, added to the wet-end of the papermaking process. To ensure optimal performance, it is recommended to use the emulsion within a few hours after preparation to avoid hydrolysis and loss of activity.
